– U2’s invitation-only after-show party at Park Hyatt Chicago was short on A-list celebs save for Gwyneth Paltrow, who was there with hubby Chris Martin of Coldplay. Baby Apple wasn’t sighted at the weekend event.

– Chris Rock pulls no punches. “I’m pretty scrawny,” Rock says in the latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine. “If I was playing [football], I’d definitely be on steroids.” Rock stars in the upcoming remake of “The Longest Yard.”

– Ridley Scott’s “Kingdom of Heaven” was tops at the weekend box office, taking in $20 million. But the film, with Orlando Bloom as a Crusades-era warrior, didn’t halt Hollywood’s slump. Revenues reportedly were down for the 11th straight weekend compared with the last year.
