Your article “School’s lesson plan: No more homework” cites improvements on state standardized tests as evidence that the Marya Yates School’s policy of not assigning homework to middle-school students is working.

Unfortunately all those test scores prove is that the school is teaching to the test at the expense of the students who will be unprepared to meet the demands of secondary and post-secondary education.
