John G. Lanan, 91, of Union Pier, MI, formerly of the Chicago area, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, in Union Pier. Devoted husband of the late Florence, nee Glasebrook; loving son of the late John and Margaret, nee Neudecker; dearest father of John (Maryann) of Riverside, IL, Adele Lanan of New Buffalo, and the late Kathleen Conrad; dear grandfather of 10 and great-grandfather of 8; fond brother of the late Bernard. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 3 p.m. at Ivins Funeral Home, 80 E. Burlington St., Riverside. John worked as a Lithographer.
