– Toyota is recalling 774,856 2001-04 Tacomas, 2001-02 4Runners and 2002-04 Tundras and Sequoias because problems with the front suspension could hinder steering. A ball joint that connects to the front suspension may have been scratched when it was manufactured.
– Ford is recalling more than 150,000 vehicles used by police departments and taxi companies because of reports of insulation on the dashboard overheating. The recall involves 2003-05 versions of the Crown Victoria used by police departments and Commercial Heavy Duty vehicles used by taxi companies.
