Regarding “Unwitting marathon runners go extra mile; Lakeshore race turns out to be too long” (Page 1, June 3), apparently long-distance runners don’t really enjoy what they do. If the organizers of the Lakeshore Marathon would give me an extra hole of golf every week, I’d be thrilled.
