Violates safeguards

I am against the Patriot Act because it violates the USA’s constitutional safeguards of the Bill of Rights. The Bill of Rights was forced upon the new nation to guarantee the rights of the minority and to ensure a higher degree of freedom than would be found without the Bill of Rights.
