It seems the on-again, off-again beef between G-Unit and The Game is back on.
While in New York to promote the November release of his line of sneakers, The Game told MTV News on Tuesday that his disses of 50 Cent and G-Unit on a recent mixtape are all in self-defense.
“I always use what happened to Murder Inc. [as] the foundation,” he told MTV, referring to the rift between Fitty’s camp and the Murder Inc./Ja Rule camp. “All Murder Inc. did was sit back and let him [dismantle them]. Me, I can’t do it.”
The Game went on to say that G-Unit first ended the truce the two sides called in March by taking shots at him recently in radio and magazine interviews. No word yet from Fitty, but it seems the two sides won’t be patching things up any time soon.
