Clay Aiken isn’t nuts about nuts.
He’s apparently highly allergic, according to a very detailed, concert rider posted on smokinggun.com, which makes the point more than once: “VERY IMPORTANT–NO TREE NUTS OR ANYTHING TOUCHING TREE NUTS MAY TOUCH THE PLATES,” it reads. “This is truly very, very serious.”
But allergies aside, the “American Idol” runner-up also isn’t too fond of mushrooms, coffee, mint, chocolate or shellfish–not that he’s high-maintenance or anything–the 10-page rider says.
And bottled water should be room temperature and “anything but Evian.”
