– Michael Jackson remained out of sight Friday during his post-trial vacation in the tiny Persian Gulf kingdom of Bahrain, to the dismay of fans desperate for the King of Pop to greet the Bahraini public. “If I see him I will tell him to keep moonwalking and give us some new albums. We are bored because we haven’t heard from Michael in a while now,” said Ricardo al-Sadeq, 26.
– Seiji Ozawa has renewed his contract as music director of the Vienna State Opera and will stay in the position through the 2009-10 season.
