Your article “Metra + bikes = confusion” (At Play, June 30) made me wonder why there is so much confusion. I moved here six years ago from the San Francisco Bay area where bikes are allowed on trains. In fact there is a separate car for bikes. I was shocked to learn there was no such thing in the third largest U.S. city. Metra allowing some bikes is a step in the right direction.
