On the July 1 broadcast of “NBC Nightly News” with Brian Williams, there was a story about the Live 8 Concerts, showing video footage and statistics illustrating how many African families live on less than one dollar a day, and that 30,000 of their children die each day from starvation.
This while CNN’s Anderson Cooper was doing a story on obese American children at a special weight-loss high school, where their parents pay $5,500 a month for tuition. Does anybody see something wrong with this picture?
