– Volkswagen is recalling 39,583 2005 Jetta sedans with 2.5-liter engines sold in the U.S. because a fuel-line clamp may fail. That could cause a gasoline leak and fire. Volkswagen has had no reports of fires, injuries or accidents caused by the flaw.
– Ford Motor Co. is recalling 10,061 2006 Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator SUVs because the left-side tires may have damage caused by a piece of steel encountered during manufacturing.
– Toyota is recalling 11,592 2005 Tacoma pickups with bench seats. NHTSA says the seat-belt buckle sensor may not function as designed, which could cause the bag to deploy improperly in a crash.
