This is regarding “Governor slips stem-cell grant by lawmakers; Illinois joins states opposing Bush stand” (Page 1, July 13). Thanks, governor, for using a bit of common sense when it comes to stem-cell research. It is time for the theoretical extremism that has gripped this nation to end.
