Harry V. Davidson, of Homewood, born April 29, 1920, passed away Thursday at South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest. Beloved husband of Thalia, nee Heim; loving father of Fred (Robin Dodson) Davidson of Urbana, IL and Joan (Igor) Markstein of Rockledge, FL. Mr. Davidson was a pianist and teacher of the American Conservatory of Music, Chicago, Park Forest Conservatory, Prairie State College, Chicago Heights, and the Sherwood Conservatory of Music, Chicago. He was a frequent recitalist and duo-pianist with his wife, Thalia. Mr. Davidson received his BME from Murray State University, KY and his MM from the American Conservatory of Music, Chicago, IL. He was an Army Veteran and was awarded two Bronze Stars while serving in the Pacific during WWII. Mr. Davidson was also an avid gardener, music lover, genealogist, eager traveler and will be missed by many appreciative students. Funeral service and interment will be private.
