Questions on globalization
“Globalization 2005: Who’s Winning, Who’s Losing and What Do We Do Now?” is an international roundtable discussion sponsored by the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
The presentation by attorney David Steiger, adjunct professor at the School for New Learning at DePaul University, will consider what practical impact the increasing competitiveness of the developing world will have on the U.S. in the future. He will cite possible adjustments by U.S. policymakers to succeed in the 21st Century.
The presentation takes place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Gleacher Center, 450 Cityfront Plaza Drive. It is followed by a reception from 8 to 9 p.m. at the Midway Club on the center’s fifth floor.
