It seems that I can’t pick up the paper these days without a story of a mother killing her children. Recently there was a story of a Dyer, Ind., woman being held in the killing of her two young sons, who were beaten to death.
Then there was another story of a woman in Boston who jumped from a window of her high-rise apartment while holding her 9-month-old daughter, crashing to their deaths.
We teach our children about stranger danger, which in reality is very rare. Meanwhile this goes on much too often.
