Rapper Beanie Sigel has donated money to help in the search for missing Philadelphia woman Latoyia Figueroa, who is five months pregnant and has been missing since July 18.
Beanie wasn’t the only contributor, The Associated Press reports. Local philanthropists and employees from the restaurant where Figueroa worked helped increase the reward from $10,000 to $100,000.
Elsewhere in the world of hip-hop, Quincy Jones has signed on to score the music for “Get Rich or Die Tryin’ ” the upcoming movie starring 50 Cent, the BBC says. The movie is based on Fitty’s drug-dealer-to-rap-star life and is expected in theaters Nov. 11.
