ABC is sending “Monday Night Football” out with a bang in its final season on the network.
The network is reintroducing a highlight package to the “MNF” halftime show, with country star Tim McGraw putting the highlights to music, zap2it.
com reports. McGraw will sing a version of his song “I Like It, I Love It” each week, with lyrics rewritten to fit the action.
Earlier this week, ABC announced that footage from a Rolling Stones concert would be part of the Sept. 8. show.
And that’s not all: Jimmy Kimmel will be a part of the halftime team too.
