It’s just not a New Year’s Eve without Dick Clark.
Clark hasn’t been on TV since suffering a stroke Dec. 6, but he’s returning on Dec. 31 for the 34th edition of “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.”
“American Idol” host Ryan Seacrest will be co-host for the bash and will eventually take over the program.
“Dick Clark is an American icon,” Seacrest said in a statement. “I am honored that he has entrusted me with such a role in this national tradition.”
