– Justin Timberlake accepted an apology from a British tabloid Wednesday over a 2004 story that claimed the singer had an affair with model Lucy Clarkson. The apology marked an end to a lawsuit he filed.

– Clay Aiken is selling his Los Angeles-area home to return to North Carolina. “Whether this ride lasts for one year or 10 years, I want to have a home base,” said Aiken, the runner-up on “American Idol” in 2003.

– Diddy and Grammy Award-winning producer Emilio Estefan have joined forces on a multimedia venture: Bad Boy Latino. Estefan and Diddy will recruit, produce and market a musical artist roster, they said Wednesday.

– Officials say Scout Taylor-Compton, 16, known for her recurring roles on “Gilmore Girls” and “Charmed” and the movie “Sleepover,” has been missing from her Apple Valley, Calif., home since Aug. 12.
