Ernest Cabrera, of Pilsen, poet and voracious reader, passed away Aug. 18, 2005, just four days short of his 50th birthday, loving husband of Susana, nee Rebolloso; devoted father of Ernest Jr., Alex and Sonyamarie; son of the late Lupe, nee Cordero, and Peter Jr. (Josephine); cherished brother of Margaret (Roger) Richter, Anita (fiance, Randy Richter), Carmen, Peter III and the late Cecelia Cabrera; uncle of many. Ernie also leaves behind many precious feathered friends and now joins his beloved cat, Milo, in heaven. Memorial Mass Wednesday, Aug. 31, 7 p.m. at St. Pius Catholic Church, 1919 S. Ashland, Chicago. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family. Arrangements by Cremation Society of Illinois, 773-281-5058.
