Marquette unveiled two drawings of the new Golden Eagle mascot, one looking a little tougher than the other (online at gomarquette.com/mascot). It’s not up for a vote again but students can send comments to the design firm. That is, if you can tell a difference. Imagine what the two are talking about backstage. –redeye
Eagle 1: “Hey, I just want you to know I accept whatever decision they make.”
Eagle 2: “I’m not talking to you.”
Eagle 1: “Woo-hoo, touchy,
tou-chee.”
Eagle 2: “I cannot believe you made balloon animals at the audition.”
Eagle 1: “What? I’m child-friendly”
Eagle 2: “We agreed: No
balloon animals. That’s cheating”
Eagle 1: “C’mon, you’re child friendly, at least when you want be.
Let’s see a smile.”
Eagle 2: “No.”
Eagle 1: “C’mon, turn that frown upside down.”
Eagle 2: “Knock it off.”
Eagle 1: “You’re cute when you’re angry:”
Eagle 2: “I will knock your block off, sister.”
