It is so sad to witness the heights and depths to which the human spirit can rise to and fall in the wake of Katrina. Contrast the aid workers and others who are desperately trying to restore life to the stricken areas with the rampant and disgusting looters who see this disaster as a free lunch as they plunder the helpless communities.
