– Motorcyclists are invited to ride in Marklund’s First Annual Bike Run from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Sept. 17. The event will benefit Marklund, a non-profit serving the profoundly disabled. Bikers will begin at Woodstock Harley-Davidson, 2050 S. Eastwood Drive (Rt. 47), Woodstock and end at Marklund’s September Fest Celebration at 1S450 Wyatt Drive, Geneva. – American Legion Post 1084 will hold its 3rd annual Gifts to Yanks who Gave Poker Run Sept. 17. The run, to provide needed items from hospitalized Illinois veterans, starts with signup at 9 a.m. at the post, 344 E. Maple Ave., Roselle. The first group leaves at 10 a.m. The fee is $25. – The Wheels Rallye Team hosts its Famous Puzzler Rallye Sept. 17 to benefit the UPS for DownS, an non-profit that assists families with children with Down Syndrome. The rallye starts at 6 p.m. with registration at Woodfield Mall, just west of the Firestone Tire Center at light pole B-2, Schaumburg. Cars leave at 7:15. Fee is $25 by Sept. 14 and $30 after that.
