I note that a number of your readers have been bemoaning what they perceive as an outpouring of hatred for the president. I’m afraid they’re confusing criticism with emotionalism. Speaking personally, I consider George W. Bush to be an inflexible and ill-educated chap who is totally out of his depth in the office of the presidency.
This is not hatred, merely a dispassionate appraisal.
