Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
I have been reading the Tribune for 50 years. With all the CEO criminals, lying and spinning politicians, greedy professional athletes, religious fanatics and flaky Hollywood actors that we have had to endure over the past several years, it was a real pleasure and relief to read the letters in the Voice of the people in your Sept. 13 issue. They were, as a group, the most impressive I can recall, sensible, down-to-Earth and compassionate. And Charles Madigan’s column about the Pennsylvania Mennonites should also have brought us all to our senses.
The letters and the column made me proud of these fellow citizens.
