This is regarding “Court: Holding Padilla is legal; Ruling allowing U.S. to detain `dirty bomb’ suspect indefinitely is big Bush victory” (Page 1, Sept. 10). It is hard to come to the defense of a punk, but if Jose Padilla, an American citizen, can be locked up indefinitely, then none of us is safe.
