Dennis Byrne’s Sept. 12 column, “Spreading blame from pillar to post,” is shameful. To so blatantly attempt to move culpability for the Gulf Coast tragedy from the Bush administration to the media and selected individuals that Byrne doesn’t personally agree with or like is downright juvenile.
Your newspaper should hold itself and its columnists to a higher standard; Byrne is a disgrace.
