Catherine Ann Fox, nee Flynn, beloved wife of 50 years to Richard J. Fox; devoted mother of Elizabeth (Robert) Meredith, Christopher J. (Irene), Kevin S. (Denise), William G., Vernon L., Robert D., Michael K., Anne Marie (Peter) Gleason and the late Edward; caring sister to Mary Doll, Margaret Flynn and the late Thomas Flynn; loving grandmother of Daniel, Andrew, Conor, Kerry, Kelsey, Adam, Brian and Isabel Fox and Edward and Grace Gleason; fond aunt to many. Born in Chicago, she was a lifetime resident of the Westside and the Oak ParkRiver Forest area. She was a proud graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas and Sienna High School. She retired in 1994 after 25 years of service at Oak Park/Rush and St. Anne Hospitals. Visitation 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Zimmerman-Ehringer-Harnett Funeral Home, 7319 W.
