Willa S. Schaffer, age 50, of Oak Park, IL, formerly of St. Charles, IL and St. Louis, MO; beloved wife of Michael D.; loving mother of Jennifer and Adam; devoted daughter of Richard and Carolyn P. (Pat) Jacobs; and daughter-in-law of Harold and Margie Schaffer; dear sister of Stewart (Sharon) Jacobs, Pam (Al) Sundberg, Cindy (Chuck) Barkman, and Barb (Jeff) Murphy; cousin of Lise Everly; fond aunt, sister-in-law, and friend. Mrs. Schaffer was a Dean/Counselor at Oak Park and River Forest High School. Prior to working at Oak Park River Forest, she was a counselor at Batavia High School in Batavia, IL. In honor of her commitment to her students, a scholarship endowment has been established at Oak Park River Forest High School. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 1, 2005 at First Presbyterian Church of River Forest, 7551 Quick Ave., River Forest, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Willa S. Schaffer Memorial Scholarship, Oak Park River Forest High School, 201 N.
