Robert W. “Bud” Funk Jr. of Hinsdale. Was born on Nov. 1, 1915 and died on Sept. 22, 2005. Beloved husband of the late Elsie, nee Schubert; loving father of Roberta “Boots” (Paul) Dwyer, Judy (John) Dziewior and Merry Lou Funk; fond grandfather of Jaime (Sal) Tramontana and James Dziewior; fond uncle of Vicki (Paul) Swartz and Sandy (Russ) Dagon; dear brother of the late Lucille Dunlap; cherished friend of Fran Morse. Bud was a trustee of Ray Graham Association for People with Disabilities, a life member of the Elks USA, a master mason and a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose. The funeral and interment will be private. Family and friends are invited to gather for a memorial reception Saturday, Sept. 24 at 5:30 p.m. at 5740 S. Jackson, Hinsdale, IL.
