Looking for a theater experience with some bite? The Midwest premiere of Luis Alfaro’s dark comedy “Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner” from Teatro Vista has plenty. We laughed ourselves silly–and got teary too–during this quirky tale of two sisters who fill the voids in their lives with the instant gratification of food and sex. It’s peppered with enough food references to fill a shopping cart, so we suggest you don’t go in hungry. Stop by nearby Mas (1670 W. Division St. 773-276-8700) for a pretheater meal of tuna tacos served with papaya ($9) or the grilled salmon with mango slaw ($23). And while we don’t want to give anything away, Sno Balls play a pivotal part in the story, both literally and metaphorically. Skip the prepackaged variety and grab the delish homemade version ($4) at Angel Food Bakery (1636 W. Montrose Ave. 773-728-15120). Check metromix.com for show times; the play runs through Oct. 16. $18-$22. Chopin Theatre, 1543 W. Division St. 312-494-5767.
