Goodbye to Field’s

I’m intrigued by the notion Federated Department Stores Inc. has that changing the name of Marshall Field’s will somehow increase the company’s profits. It may, in the beginning, as those of us with Field’s charge cards pay off our entire debt and close our accounts.
