Chicago: Uninterrupted sunshine allows temperatures to rebound from the coolest levels since May 31. Nearly seasonable late September level highs this afternoon. SW winds take hold after a period daybreak calm. Increasing cloudiness Tuesday night, especially late. Steady SSW winds reduce the nighttime temperature decline.
