I am one of those liberals who is very critical of many of the decisions made by President Bush and the current administration.
Though this may make me an anti-American in the eyes of many, it is because of this basic freedom that I love my country.
So thank you, America, for allowing me to voice my disapproval when I expect more out of you.
And for giving me a part, no matter how small, in deciding which direction this country will head.
And an even bigger thank you to all those who think for themselves and who don’t follow the government blindly and without questions; it’s you who preserve this great country as a true democracy.
