Baba Abbasi, 91, of Chicago, husband of Emma Abbasi for 65 years, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family Saturday October 1, 2005 to be with his Lord and Savior. He is survived by his wife, six children and their spouses and families; Mekel Younanzedah, Shamo Youhanna, Sparvim Nazarof, Bella Rahbar, Enerta George and Samuel Abbasi; 12 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two sisters and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian burial Tuesday October 4, 10:30 a.m. at the Assyrian Evangelical Covenant Church, 5210 N. Washtenaw, Chicago. Interment All Saints Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
