– The Illinois Railway Museum in Union is holding its Harvest Festival weekend Oct. 8-9. A diesel-powered passenger train will be available for rides on the museum’s mainline, and all families will be given a free pumpkin. The museum, at 7000 Olsen Rd., Union, is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends. Admission costs $9 for adults, and $7 for seniors and children 5 through 11. – A live steam engine will pull The Great Pumpkin Train Oct. 8-9 at the National Railroad Museum in Green Bay, Wis. Passengers also will select a pumpkin from the museum’s Pumpkin Patch.
