Daryl “Bud” Klinger, formerly of Elgin, IL, died August 22, 2005 in Tucson, AZ where he resided for the past six years. Born October 14, 1931 in Chicago to Albert Klinger and Esther Overholser. Preceded in death by his parents, brothers Donald and Harold. He is survived by his wife, Michelle R. Klinger of Tucson; daughters, Kim Butler of Western Springs and Jeanine Borst of St. Charles; four grandchildren; sisters Dorothy Klinger of Dayton, OH and Lois Hallbauer of Tucson, AZ; brother Darwin (Gene) Klinger of Olney, MD. Daryl retired from Senior Flexonics, Bartlett, IL in 1994. He was active in many local organizations: President, Elgin Chamber of Commerce; Chairman, Personal Assoc. for Elgin Chamber of Commerce; Chrmn, Mgrs. Round Table and Instructor for Midwest Industrial Management Assoc.; Board of Directors, KDK Job Training Partnership; Board of Directors, Bartlett Bank & Trust. Served in the Marines in Barstow, CA, 1951-52. There will be a memorial service on October 8, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Congregational Church, 5th and Main, West Dundee, IL.
