Dr. Fred Schpak, 79, beloved husband of Rochelle, nee Siegall; loving father of Hilary (Jim) Walsh and Sandy (Brian) Arbuthnot; adored grandfather of Nicholas, Rebecca and Nora Walsh and Benjamin, Ryan and Garrhett LaForce and Laina, Chase and Jeremy Arbuthnot; dear brother of Raymond (Betty) Schpak and the late Marthe and Charles. Dr. Schpak was a dedicated optometrist for over 50 years, a multifaceted entrepreneur, a holder of enumerable patents, and an accomplished researcher in the area of soft contact lenses. Fred will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Services Monday 11 a.m. at Chicago Jewish Funerals Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Road (One block north of Lake Cook Road), Buffalo Grove.
