Jessica Alba dreams of Jeannie.
The actress confirmed at a press event last week that she is in ongoing talks to headline a big-screen version of TV classic “I Dream of Jeannie,” TV Guide reports.
“I definitely have met a couple of times at Sony, and we’ve talked about it, [but] the script is just not in the shape I would want it to be in if I was going to do it,” Alba said. “I want to do the show.”
Even skimpy bathing suits couldn’t save Alba’s latest movie, “Into the Blue,” in which she stars with Paul Walker. “Blue” made only $7 million in its debut this weekend, putting it in fifth place, according to estimates from boxofficemojo.com.
