Bitter? Who’s bitter?
Paris Latsis appears to be handling his broken engagement every bit as gracefully as Paris Hilton.
Latsis issued a brief statement Monday (curiously issued through Hilton publicist Elliott Mintz) calling his ex “the most incredible woman I have ever met in my life.”
“I respect her decision and appreciate the very kind and generous manner in which she is handling her very difficult decision,” Latsis said. “This was the best experience of my life, and I will always be grateful for it.”
But there are rumblings from the New York Post that the split, which Hilton announced over the weekend, wasn’t so cut-and-dried. Rumor has it Hilton has been spotted with another wealthy Greek heir, Stavros Niarchos–who has been dating Mary-Kate Olsen–though no one is linking the two as a couple. And the Post claims Hilton plans to keep her $5 million engagement ring.
