Richard V. Hoffman, passed away at 78 on August 1, 2005. Memorial services were held August 4, 2005 in Fall Brook, CA where he had retired 12 years ago. He and his late brother Edgar Hoffman were both born and raised in Chicago. They were forerunners in the fine patio furniture industry. Their stores “The Patio” were in Chicago and Highland Park. Lovingly remembered by his wife Michelle; his children, grandchildren and friends. A dedication will be held October 16, 2005 at 10 a.m. at Westlawn Cemetery, 7800 W. Montrose Ave., Chicago.
