Matthew W. Wegrecki, age 83, of O’Fallon, MO, Born June 8, 1922 in Chicago, IL, passed away October 6, 2005 at his home. Beloved husband of Rosalie Wegrecki of O’Fallon, MO; dear son of the late Bartholomew and the late Victoria Wegrecki; devoted father of Kathy (Michael) Novak of O’Fallon, MO and the late Cheryl Wegrecki; loving grandfather of Matthew J. (Julie) Novak of St. Charles, MO; great-grandfather of Ali Christine Novak, St. Charles, MO; brother of the late Frank Wegrecki, the late William Wegrecki, the late Angie Matanic the late Mary Janis and the late Betty Szymczak. Retired supervisor of air craft maintenance at TWA for 42 years. Matthew served in the U.S. Marine Corps from February 18, 1943 to May 23, 1946. Services are private, date and time pending.
