Terrence “Terry” Kozak, 58, of Hayesville, NC, died Sunday, Oct. 9, 2005 at his residence. A native of Cook County, IL, he had been living in Hayesville for a year. He was the son of the late Walter and Wanda Karrweck Kozak. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Navy. He had worked for 38 years at Jewel Food Store in Chicago as a meat cutter. Terry was of the Catholic faith. Surviving are his wife, Bonnie Smith Kozak; two sons, Jerry N. Criscione and wife, Tammie and Anthony M. Criscione and wife, Mary, all of Chicago; a brother, Kenneth Kozak of San Francisco, CA; and seven grandchildren. Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 13 in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, with Father George Kloster officiating. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville. Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville in charge of arrangements.
