John Sass, WWII Army veteran, age 86, of Sarasota, FL, passed away on August 27, 2005 in Sarasota. John was born in Streator, IL and moved to Sarasota from Lisle, IL in 2000. He was a former co-owner of Axle Equipment Sales Co. in Naperville. John is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary Sass, nee Curnen; his sons, John Patrick and William Michael; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a brother, Bill. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 22 at 11 a.m. in Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery in Naperville. Arrangements by Blake-Lamb Funeral Home. For info 630-964-9392.
