Two years ago, living on the way-down South Side of Mahomet, Ill., I watched Sox games and saw nobody in the stands. You couldn’t even buy a Sox T-shirt anywhere. Now, even in my new home of Washington, the White Sox hats are everywhere. The best thing about it is seeing all the diehard Cubs fans in their brand-new Sox hats.
