While I am an incorrigible Cubs fan, I find myself delighted for all Sox fans and Chicago that the While Sox are going to the World Series. What confounds me are those Cub fans who have told me they must cheer for the Sox opponents. This takes the inter-town rivalry to a sad and irrational level.
