– Kirsten Dunst is expected to star in a biopic of the late relief worker Marla Ruzicka, currently set up at Paramount Pictures and MTV Films, Variety.com reports. Ruzicka, who was 28 when she died, founded an organization that provides reparations for the civilian casualties of the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. She was killed by a suicide bomber in Iraq in April.

– A photographer suspected of planting a listening device outside Nicole Kidman’s home in Sydney will not have to give a DNA sample to police, an Australian court ruled Tuesday. Police sought a DNA sample to connect the photographer to the device.

– David Beckham and his wife, former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, are taking legal action against a British tabloid that claimed their marriage is a sham. The Beckhams are seeking libel damages against the News of the World newspaper over an article with the headline: “Posh and Becks on the Rocks.” A judge and jury will hear the case at London’s Law Courts in December.
