Rose Wascow, nee Kolodziej, beloved wife of the late Joseph; loving mother of Joseph (Donna), and Steve (Dorothy); dearest grandmother of Dr. Doreen, nee Wascow (Michael) McGuire, Colleen (Jeff) Smith, Steven (Cindy) Wascow, Joseph (Lucy) Wascow, John Wascow and Jeff Wascow; and great-grandmother of Madelein and Brendan McGuire, Sophia and Olivia Smith and Tyler and Zachary Wascow; fond sister of Alice (the late Ted Rypel and the late Bud Ourada) Ourada, Dorothy (Walter) Labuz and the late Stanley (the late Emily) Kolodziej; dear aunt and great aunt of many; also loving companion, Zsa-Zsa. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, energetic homemaker, a gourmet cook and baker, and a skilled seamiest. She enjoyed a life long profession as a beautician. She will be greatly missed as matriarch of her family. Funeral on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2005 at 9 a.m. from Poterek Funeral Home, 5735 W. Fullerton Ave. (corner of Mango), to St. Eugene Church.
