What it’s about: A look at the period between the time Truman Capote (Hoffman) learned about the 1959 murders of a Kansas farm family to the execution six years later of their murderers, Dick Hickock (Pellegrino) and Perry Smith (Collins Jr.). Capote’s research would become the groundbreaking novel “In Cold Blood.”
